Our team also worked on adding a more fluid transition when dynamic themes changed to allow for a smoother user experience. Themes had the ability to alter the appearance of the default toolbars, but did not have the ability to style menus, or customize auto-complete popups.

Our goal was to expand upon the existing “lightweight” Theming API in Quantum to allow for more areas of customization. We had the privilege of working with Mozilla on Firefox Quantum’s Theming API. Twenty-four groups of five students were each assigned an industry sponsor based on preference and skill set. Scroll through the different options that appear on your screen to seek out a theme that will enhance your browsing experience. Load your search results using the “enter” button. Using this bar, you can search out colors, patterns, seasons, travels, cities, and other themes that appeal to you. With the search bar, which can be located at the page's top, you can easily punch a phrase or word. Searching for a new theme is easy as well. Use the ‘install’ button to install any theme of your choice. Scrolling down the section will show some recommended themes that are available for download. Click on this tab, which will reveal some pre-downloaded themes. You will find the “Themes” tab next to a paintbrush icon on the left-hand side of the screen. On a Mac, use the ' SHIFT' + 'CMD' + ' A'.

If you are using a PC, pressing the ' SHIFT' + 'CONTROL' + ' A' command will give you direct access to the Add-ons. There is another route to get to the Add-ons section. This will give you access to the menu option. Three lines appear on the upper-right corner of the browser. The first step to take is to open your Firefox browser on your PC or Mac.
